New Coldplay Album in June

Coldplay have announced the details for the follow-up to 2005’s X&Y. The Brian Eno-produced Viva la Vida will be released in the US on June 17 via Capitol. Band manager Dave Holmes tells Billboard that the album “definitely takes them in some different directions.” The final tracklist for the album is still being finalized.
