Isaac Brock, Johnny Marr and the gang will head back to the studio for the follow-up to We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank in March. For those who can’t wait for the creative process to finish, Brock has confirmed that they’re putting the finishing touches on an EP of outtakes from both Good News For People Who Love Bad News and We Were Dead, but to keep the suspense, a release date has not yet been announced. Modest Mouse will soon join The National in opening for R.E.M. in their North American tour.
