Post-punk legends Gang of Four are working on their first album of new material in over 15 years. The group are recording at guitarist Andy Gill’s London studio with hopes for a self-release in June. Bassist Dave Allen told Billboard.com that “We had the fear that we weren’t ready, that it had been too long a time for people to care… Then we realized we had a lot of fun together — more than we thought we would.” For the time being however, the band will be having fun without drummer Hugo Burnham due to unnamed health issues.
