Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds have unveiled the release date and tracklist for Dig Lazarus Dig, the follow-up to the double album Abbatoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus from 2004. Tour dates supporting the album are currently in the works. Lazarus will hit stores in the UK on March 3 leaving stateside listeners only to wait until April 8 to hear it.
Other news from the universe of Cave includes the man and his Proposition-soundtracking partner, Warren Ellis releasing another film score. A western film as well, Cave and Ellis’ score to The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward Robert Ford will hit shelves the same day of the DVD release of the film, February 5th.
