Seminal trip-hop trio Portishead was kind enough to debut songs from their upcoming third LP this weekend at their self-curated Nightmare Before Christmas festival in England. Videos and MP3s of the performance, their first official one in over a decade, have debuted on Deaf Indie Elephants. The three showcased songs mark a bit of a departure from previous recordings by the Bristol group, showing harsher, more propulsive production. Fans will have the pleasure of hearing the rest of Portishead’s now mythical new material this spring.
