Indie rock outfit Tapes N’ Tapes has wrapped work on its sophomore album, due in late spring via XL Recordings. The Minneapolis-based group headed to upstate New York to record with producer David Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Weezer) at Tarbox Road Studios. The new batch of material was written after an extensive bout of touring, starting this past January. In the end, the band came away with 15 tracks, but is still trying to figure out which ones will make the final cut.http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003673923
