Kevin Shields confirmed in an upcoming video interview for Soft Focus that a long-awaited follow-up to 1991’s iconic Loveless is 3/4 of the way finished and should see a release within a year. While distribution plans are still up in the air, Shields promises that the new album “sounds like what we sounded like — different but not radically different… People will go, ‘Yeah, it sounds like My Bloody Valentine.”
