New Coldplay Album Almost Finished

Coldplay have announced via web post that their fourth LP is nearing completion as we speak, readying itself for an early 2008 release. Produced by Brian Eno, the follow to 2005’s X&Y will feature new tracks like “Famous Old Painters,” “Poppy Field,” and “Rainy Day.” The post on the band’s website promises that “when the deadline comes and the work is done, this will be the album I always dreamed we’d make.”
