Lady Jaye of Psychic TV (aka PTV3) collapsed and died in the arms of her heartbroken “other half” Genesis Breyer P-Orridge on October 9, 2007, at home in Brooklyn, New York. The cause of death was a previously undiagnosed heart condition which is thought to have been connected with her long-term battle with stomach cancer. Genesis and the other surviving band members of Psychic TV/PTV3, being overwhelmed by the enormity of their loss, are not able to properly meet the demands of touring and performance. They have, thus, sadly cancelled their November North American tour dates. The group reports that the conspicuous loss of Lady Jaye’s unique charisma, music and humor would be an unbearable emotional reality to confront night after night.http://www.genesisp-orridge.com/index.php?section=news&id=111&album_id=1
Rest In Peace Lady Jaye
