Death Cab for Cutie are set to hit studios in Seattle, San Francisoc and Portland, Oregon this September to record their follow-up to 2005’s Plans. The band’s plate is virtually clear throughout the rest of 2007. However, frontman Ben Gibbard will perform and chat with Lemony Snicket author Daniel Handler as part of San Francisco’s City Arts & Lectures series on September 11.
