The Cure has, “with all apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment,” rescheduled the September/October 2007 North American shows to April/May 2008. “The schedule as it stands only gives us a couple of weeks to finish our new double album before we hit the road again, and we know this just isn’t enough time to complete the project to our total satisfaction,” says the band. Tickets for the 2007 shows will be valid for the 2008 shows and refunds will be available.
The band is keeping its dates for the San Francisco Download Festival October 6 and MTV Latin America Awards October 18. Additionally, they are keeping schedule with the Sports Palace Mexico City shows October 20-22.http://www.thecure.com/default.asp
