Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem Team Up for Seven Inch

In addition to a joint tour this fall, Arcade Fire and dance rock staples LCD Soundsystem will work together on a split seven inch record. The untitled collaboration will be available at the bands’ shows when they begin playing live together on September 17, as well as through each band’s respective websites. Arcade Fire will contribute a cover of Serge Gainsbourg’s “Poupee de Cire” while James Murphy and company will record their cover of Joy Division’s “No Love Lost.”
