The stage is set for another wave of reissues from The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley to hit the shores of the UK. Mirroring the 2005 reissue campaign of Elvis’ #1 hit singles, this endeavor will center around 18 weekly releases. However, the difference here is that not all the singles hit #1. “Suspicious Minds,” “Blue Suede Shoes” and “Heartbreak Hotel” are amoung those failed to reach the Billboard summit. The latter will be ineligible for charting this time around because it’ll be packaged in a collector’s box which is to be used to house the other singles as well. An unusual Thursday reissue of “Suspicious Minds” will hit shelves August 16 marking the 30th anniversary of Presley’s death. With the campaign set to see chart action well into December, things will kick off August 13 with the release of “Heartbreak Hotel” as well as Elvis the King, a 2-disc, 50-track retrospectivehttp://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003621150
