A life-sized bronze statue of Elvis Presley has been unveiled in Hawaii at site of his famous 1973 concert at the Neal Blaisdell Center. The King performed a TV special “Aloha From Hawaii” which was one of the first major concerts to be broadcast on globally via satellite. More than a billion people watched the landmark event.
