Emerson Hart, once lead singer of Tonic released his debut solo album today. Cigarettes and Gasoline was released today courtesy of Manhattan Records. The now 27 year old Hart says that this record is somewhat of a dedication and an outlet regarding the death of his father who was killed when he was ten, and that this solo record allows him to delve into lyrics and concepts that he could not as a band member. He says he is “happy to be making deeper music for the people who are into it”http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003612868
