Fez, Morocco is the site of a significant first. While musical experimentalists, Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno have been known to join forces and produce classic U2 material, they are helping write songs this time around as well.
Bono claims “We have no plans for the music yet,” though the band have apparently brought forth a number of ideas.
“It’s very different, quite experimental and kind of liberating because of that,” says drummer Larry Mullen Jr. of writing with Eno and Lanois.
