The Sacramento rockers Cake have announced the release of B-sides and Rarities due out August 14th via Upbeat Records. The album culls Cake’s fifteen year-long tenure with eleven tracks including covers of artists as diverse as Frank Sinatra, Barry White, Buck Owens, George Jones, Kenny Rogers, and Black Sabbath.
The band also plans to release a live album titled Live at the Crystal Palace this autumn; and they are currently laying the icing on their sixth studio record, tentatively due out early next year.
