A concert benefiting the non-profit housing organization Sweet Home New Orleans will take place at Tipitina’s Uptown on Sunday, May 27th. Performing artists include the Indigo Girls, San Francisco singer-songwriter Matt Nathanson, OK Go’s Damian Kulash, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, and New Orleans-based artists Al Johnson and Bonearama. The proceeds of this concert will go to benefit housing for musicians and artists displaced by Hurricane Katrina.http://www.antimusic.com/news/07/may/1607.shtml
