Metric have confirmed that they are currently in Toronto working on the pre-production of the follow-up to their 2005 release Live it Out.
In the process of finishing principal writing for the album, the group expects to complete it sometime in October.
In the meantime, Emily Haines and company will release Grow Up and Blow Away, an album that the band recorded in 1999 but until now has been shelved.
That album will be available on June 26th.
