Scottish singer KT Tunstall has taken aim for a September release for the follow-up to 2006’s platinum Eye of the Telescope titled Drastic Fantastic.
“The second album sort of feels like the next half of a book rather than a totally different book,” explained Tunstall. “I’m really excited about that because the first album was made in the middle of the country, so I’m now looking at making an album in London. I think the city will always find its way under the door of the studio and imbed itself in what you’re doing.”
Currently on Tunstall’s gig plate are a spot in WBOS’s Earthfest on May 26th in Boston, an outdoor performance for the Today show in NYC’s Rockefeller Center July 13th and sharing the stage with The Police, Kanye West, and Smashing Pumpkins for Live Earth at Giants Stadium July 7th.http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003578360
