Chicago indie label Touch & Go is primed and ready to launch its very own digital store. Along with boasting the label’s current roster (!!!, Black Heart Procession, TV on the Radio, Blonde Redhead, etc.), the digital store will be the only cyber-venue to purchase albums from Steve Albini bands like Big Black, Rapeman and Shellac. Prices are set to compete with the current digital benchmark at 99 cents a track and $9.99 an album.
Upcoming releases from Touch & Go include the new Shellac album, Excellent Italian Greyhound on June 5th and Pinback’s forthcoming Autumn of the Seraphs this summer.http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003578252
