The Raconteurs are working on the follow-up to their 2006 debut, Broken Boy Soldiers.
Hoping to finish recording before he begins his summer tour with The White Stripes, Jack White says that he and his cohorts (Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler) have already written 12 tracks down in Blackbird Studio in Nashville.
He explains, “We don’t know if we’re going to finish but we wanted to get everything down before we got busy. We have a lot bigger ideas about certain things, so we will see how far we get.”
In the meantime, White’s other new release with fellow Stripe Meg, Icky Thump, will be released June 18th.
