The Frequency, the highly anticipated debut EP from PlayRadioPlay, is now available in stores. The whirlwind force behind PlayRadioPlay (PHP) is seventeen-year-old Dan Hunter, who made a name for himself by accumulating over one million plays on his MySpace music page in less than a year. PRP offers a striking complexity to listeners, as a bright and playful sound reminiscent of The Postal Service collides with darker lyrics, such as those to “Complimen Each Other Like Colors”: “Please, darling, can you lead the way/My world was flipped now I have gone astray/Now it falls apart every night/To the sight of the dim stars.” In addition to the newly released EP, Hunter is currently working on his first full-length album, which will be available this fall, with Grammy Award-winning producer Garret Lee.http://www.myspace.com/playradioplay
