The Runaways are set to be the subject of an upcoming biopic to be directed by Floria Sigismondi. Titled Neon Angels, the film will follow the fortune of the all-girl rock group founded by Kim Fowley which featured a young Joan Jett. Jett, who’s signed on as the project’s producer, went on to be the groups biggest solo success. http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/article/the%20runaways%20land%20biopic%20deal_1028523
