On May 1st, the acclaimed Classic Albums series of DVDs will examine Frank Zappa with a release covering Over-Nite Sensation (1973) and Apostrophe(‘) (1974). The 98-minute documatary will look behind the scenes at each recording session as will as juxtapose interviews with Zappa’s wife Gail, children Moon, Ahmet and Dweezil, and friends Billy Bob Thornton, Warren Cuccurullo, Steve Vai and Alice Cooper with rare footage of Zappa on and off stage.
