Elton John simultaneously celebrated his 60th birthday and his 60th show at New York’s Madison Square Garden yesterday, March 25. Elton notably performed “Empty Garden,†his John Lennon tribute song, which was debuted at MSG in 1974, in what turned out to be the Beatles last live show. John has noted he can only play the song in that particular venue. The show was introduced by former President Bill Clinton, with other appearances by Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams.http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2007/03/26/bjorks-new-album-cover-arcade-fire-cancel-european-dates-snoop-not-allowed-in-england/
