Due in part to a forthcoming catalogue package of their original seven albums plus assorted extras, members of Sly and the Family Stone have confirmed a possible reunion tour could be in the works, calling it “more of a probability than a possibility.” The band has been in retirement since Sly Stone’s 1987 arrest and sentence for cocaine use, and today credit bandmate Rosemary Stone for keeping things together, as she is currently fronting Original Family Stone, a group featuring Family Stone members Cynthia Robinson and Jerry Martini, while at the same time encouraging Sly Stone to keep up with his musical efforts. No official plans have been made yet.http://www.cinemablend.com/music/Possible-Reunion-Ahead-For-Sly-And-The-Family-Stone-3445.html
