The New Pornographers are in the midst of recording their fourth studio album. Their forthcoming album follows 2005’s Twin Cinema, which has thus far sold 111,000 copies in US.
One of the bands vocalist and “group principal”, A.C. Newman expressed that the band was experimenting new approaches in the coming album. One track, Salinger, Newman discusses is “more of a ballad than we’ve ever done before.” The album also contains their first epic-length song, passing the six minute mark.
