Mere weeks after the release of their sophomore effort, Yours Truly, Angry Mob, Kaiser Chiefs have revealed plans to release a fans-only third album as early as next month.
Bassist Simon Rix states “When we recorded this album, we recorded more songs for a third album. It’s done and we’d like to release it in April.”
Rix also announced that the Chiefs will soon start work on a proper follow-up to Mob. In the meantime, they will kick off their North American tour in Philadelphia next month.
