Jack Johnson is the driving force behind the upcoming surfing documentary A Brokedown Melody and also had some influence over the film’s soundtrack. Johnson recorded three songs for the project and invited a host of surf fans to contribute. Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder brought out his ukulele to say “Goodbye,” alongside artists the Beta Band, M. Ward, Kings of Convenience, Matt Costa, and others.http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003124613
