New INXS Leaves Epic

INXS has enjoyed recent success after naming JD Fortune as frontman Michael Hutchence’s successor via the reality TV show “Rock Star.” Their new album Switch has done well in the US and become a huge hit in their home country of Australia.

Despite this, the band has left their North American label, Epic Records. Neither INXS nor Epic has commented on the break or the reasons beyond it.http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003123856
