U2 have enlisted uber-producer Rick Rubin for the follow-up to 2004’s How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. Rubin’s resume includes working with The Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Public Enemy, Run-DMC, and Jonny Cash’s American Recordings series.
U2 have also announced a collaboration with Green Day. The 2 bands will join forces to cover “The Saints Are Coming” by The Skids to benefit the Edge’s Music Rising charity to assist musicians who’s instruments were lost in Hurricane Katrina.http://news.yahoo.com/s/launch/20060911/en_launch/35674344
