Welcome back, my friends, to the line that never ends: The gates open on Day 1 of Coachella 2006.

The Outdoor Theater and some festival artwork. This shot was taken from a high vantage point in a Michael Christian sculpture that briefly served as a jungle gym for Coachella visitors.
