Influential Guitarist Johnny Jenkins Dies

Johnny Jenkins, a session guitarist who worked closely with Otis Redding, died last Monday in Macon, Georgia. He was 67. Although he had appeared on albums since the 1960s and released a few solo efforts, his live performances — inclusive of stunts and left-handed playing — are said to have inspired Jimi Hendrix.http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/news/article/0,,3708918,00.html
