No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal has told MTV that the band has begun work on their follow-up to their 2001 mega-hit Rock Steady. Of course, Rock Steady came out before lead singer Gwen Stefani’s stunning success as a solo artist. Kanal insists that the album is still in the earliest of stages with no direction or plan in place yet.
