Ian Copeland, music agent and brother to Steward and Miles Copeland, died on Tuesday of melanoma. He booked tours and later was a successful agent for bands such as the Police, R.E.M., Adam Ant, the Go-Go’s, the Bangles, the Smiths, the Thompson Twins, the Fixx, UB40, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Oingo Boingo, the Dead Kennedys and the Cure.
