Mario Etheridge, the bouncer suspected of shooting Detroit rapper Proof, was charged with “carrying a concealed weapon and discharge of a firearm in a dwelling or occupied structure.” Both charges are felonies, but fall short of the expected murder charge. The current charges carry a possible nine-year prison sentence attached to them, if Etheridge is convicted.http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1528750/20060414/proof_of_d_12.jhtml?headlines=true
