Bright Eyes, now consisting of Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nate Walcott, has gotten together 25-30 songs for their follow-up to last year’s two releases. The as-yet-untitled set will consist of 10-12 tracks featuring guests Gillian Welch, Sleater-Kinney drummer Janet Weiss, and singer-songwriter M. Ward. The album should see a spring 2007 release via Oberst’s brother’s label, Saddle Creeek.http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1002314395
