Leslie Feist has begun work on the follow-up to her 2005 debut Let It Die. Renting a manor outside Paris to house her equipment and collaborators, Feist says this album will have a more open, live feel than the last. “We were all looking at each other, all in the same room playing and at the same time, looking at each other…. It’s completely more visual. It’s not so much in a cocoon like the last one.” Right now, the solo songstress is eyeing a January 2007 release.http://www.artistdirect.com/cgi-bin/gx.cgi/AppLogic+SimpleRedirect?src=/nad/music/ubl/news&destination=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Echartattack%2Ecom%2Fdamn%2F2006%2F04%2F0710%2Ecfm
