Ready to Die, Notorious B.I.G.’s 1994 breakthrough album, may soon be unavailable for purchase. A jury decided the rapper had illegally sampled an Ohio Players song for the title track and has awarded the music companies that own the rights to the material $4.2 million. In addition, the judge presiding over the case has halted sales of the album. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060319/ap_en_mu/rap_sampling_verdict;_ylt=AiApBibIRYeSwscTirAP0KUIHL8C;_ylu=X3oDMTA5aHJvMDdwBHNlYwN5bmNhdA–
