Pearl Jam’s new single, “World Wide Suicide,” gave the band their highest debut on the Billboard charts this week. After a three-year absence, the single appeared No. 3 on the modern rock chart and No. 1 on the format’s audience chart. It is the band’s thirty-first appearance on the modern rock chart.
