Gorillaz Play the World Famous Apollo

After announcing that putting on a full-scale tour would be far too expensive, Gorillaz are bringing their show to New York’s “World Famous” Apollo Theater for five nights: April 2-6. The shows will feature a wide range of special guests, including De La Soul, Roots Manuva, Neneh Cherry, Ike Turner, Shaun Ryder of the Happy Mondays, and Bootie Brown of the Pharcyde. Tickets go on sale March 10.
