The Pretenders will be releasing a four-disc box set on March 14, exactly one year after their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Pirate Radio is a mix of some of the bands biggest hits, never-before-heard tracks and demos, as well as live cuts for a total of five hours of listening. Also included is a collector’s edition poster and a nineteen-song DVD of live performances from 1979 to 1995.
The band will also launch a House of Blues tour on March 21 which will include a special stop at this year’s South by Southwest Festival. More dates are expected to be announced soon.http://www.cmj.com/articles/display_article.php?id=9547233
