Billy Corgan has talked a lot about reuniting his old band, usually unbeknownst to his former bandmates. Finally putting the talk aside, Corgan and Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin have signed a new management deal with Front Line Management and are soon to begin work on a new studio album. Guitarist James Iha and bassist D’arcy Wretzky have declined to participate in the new Pumpkins, as has bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur. This will be the first release from the band since its split in 2000.http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1001956802
