The BBC is filming a musical of Jesus’s last days set in modern times and featuring music by the Smiths, New Order, and the Buzzcocks. Jesus will be singing “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now” by the Smiths during his lashing, and Mary Magdalene will perform the Buzzcocks’ “Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t Fall In Love With)?” The show will air on Good Friday on BBC3.http://www.cmj.com/articles/display_article.php?id=9047267
