Nick Cave wrote the screenplay for The Proposition under the assumption that nothing would ever come of it. Here’s hoping that the three weeks of work he spent on it pays off. The film is an Australian western starring Guy Pearce as an outlaw who must murder his older brother in order to save his younger. It premiered at Sundance and will open across the country in May. http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1001919759
