Billy Corgan has announced that he wants to reform the Smashing Pumpkins, five years after the band split. He claims to have plans already in place to re-launch the band, though no specifics—such as if any former band members have agreed to return—have been announced. Says Corgan, who formed the shortlived Zwan after the breakup and is soon to release his solo debut, “my heart is in the Smashing Pumpkins.”http://www.nme.com/news/112761.htm
