Rumors have begun that mega live act U2 will be retiring from touring after the completion of the Vertigo tour. Edge has been quoted as saying he doesn’t think the band could out-do their current show and for that reason, “[it’s] ok to say bye-bye.” The band’s live show has been a constant arena sell-out of at least the past decade, becoming known for frontman Bono’s theatrics, large video screens, extended catwalks, and guest performers.http://contactmusic.com/new/xmlfeed.nsf/mndwebpages/u2%20to%20quit%20touring
