Arthur Magazine will be throwing the first-ever Arthurball, set for the weekend of February 25-26 in Los Angeles. Its combination of live music, film screenings, and appearances by “poets, thinkers, artists, jokers, yappers and typers” will set the festival apart. Arthur Magazine editor-in-chief Jay Babcock boasts, “You can go to South by Southwest or you can skip to the good stuff.”
The weekend will feature headliners Joanna Newsom and the 5:15ers, another Josh Homme side-project with his longtime collaborator Chris Goss.
