Catching Up With Crunk

TVT Records released Crunk Hits, a collection of hit songs from the southern hip-hop sub-genre, this month. The album features recent hits by artists such as Usher, Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz, Ciara, Pitbull, Nelly, Ying Yang Twins, Juvenile, Chingy, and more.

TVT itself has recently been under fire from it’s strongest crunk artist, Lil Jon, who has criticized label owner Steve Gottleib by saying he “don’t know how to pay people and take care of the people that helped take his label to another level.”
